If you need a student visa to study in the UK, you’ll need to pay a minimum £1,500 tuition fee deposit. You should pay your deposit as soon as you accept your unconditional offer. This demonstrates your commitment to Newcastle University.

You do not need to pay a deposit if:

If you’re being sponsored, upload your formal sponsorship letter as soon as it’s available to the application portal you applied through. You don’t need to pay a deposit if you’re able to provide proof of sponsorship.

To pay your deposit, log in to the application portal you applied through. You can pay by credit or debit card.

You can also pay by electronic transfer or by cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Newcastle University and sent to:

Please include a copy of your offer letter with your cheque.

Usually your deposit is non-refundable and we'll deduct it from your tuition fees.  But, there are some instances when we'll refund your deposit. Our deposit refund policy sets out the circumstance and deadlines by which you can ask for your money back.
